Dr. Dahlia Rice is a highly accomplished and dedicated medical professional. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago, IL, graduating in May 2013. Prior to this, she pursued her medical education at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, IL, where she laid the foundation for her medical career from August 2009 to 2011.
Dr. Rice’s commitment to advancing her knowledge is evident in her academic achievements. She holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Science with a concentration in Neurology, earned in August 2008 from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO.
Her academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, focusing on Anatomy, at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO, where she graduated in December 2005. This early foundation in biological sciences laid the groundwork for her future success in the medical field.
Building upon her solid foundation in medicine, Dr. Dahlia Rice further specialized in Integrated Plastic Surgery through a rigorous residency program. She successfully completed her Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, NY, from July 2016 to June 2020. During this time, she honed her skills and gained comprehensive expertise in the intricacies of plastic surgery, solidifying her position as a skilled practitioner in this specialized field.
Prior to her plastic surgery residency, Dr. Rice completed her General Surgery Residency, PGY 1-3, at Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI. This initial training, from June 2013 to June 2016, provided her with a broad understanding of surgical principles and procedures like chin liposuction, breast augmentation, tummy tuck and labiaplasty.
